T he DM's failure rate was even lower than that of the legacy 870, which had a failure rate of less than one percent. That is dependable. There were no issues with feeding or firing in my testing with a wide range of ammunition. The DM demonstrated its durability. So far, the 870 DM has demonstrated solid dependability. The Remington 870 Stock gave a strong hold to the front of the firearm, while the Magpul SGA stock sat easily against my shoulder. Spacers can be added or taken out of the stock to change its length. The actual siphon was normal — standard perfection, yet entirely not a huge deal. The fact that the magazine occasionally obstructed my ability to maneuver through brush was the only issue I had with the 870's handling.
